ABOUT

Check a telehealth company
before you sign up.

Televetted is an independent guide for people choosing a telehealth company. We look at what companies publish (who prescribes, what it really costs, which states they serve, where the medication comes from) and point out the red flags, so you can decide with fewer unknowns.

Who runs Televetted

Televetted is published and maintained by Protocolia Media Group.

How we check companies

Every company is checked against the same published method: nine checks, four possible outcomes and regular re-checks. Our method is at version 0.1, and company reviews under it are in progress. Read the Televetted Method →

How a breakdown is made

Each breakdown is built from primary sources: the company's own homepage, product pages, Terms, refund policy and privacy policy, plus public records such as FDA warning letters and close-out letters on fda.gov and LegitScript certification where a company shows it. We record what the company publishes (price, who prescribes, states served, pharmacy, refunds, support and regulatory history), write "Not published" when a company doesn't say, link every source and show the date we last checked. Breakdowns are not ratings; full reviews under our method are in progress.

Corrections

Companies and readers can send corrections through Contact. We re-check the source, update the page and change its last-checked date.

Independence

Payment never buys a pass, a feature, a better rating or a removed flag, and companies we don't earn from get the same checks.

Clinicians decide

We don't diagnose, prescribe or replace a licensed clinician. Our free eligibility checks are a starting point, not a diagnosis. A licensed clinician always makes the final call.
